Pet Dander:

The Asiet air purifier rids the air of 99.9% of all pet dander. It is safe to have around pets and does not introduce any harmful chemicals in the air.
What Is Pet Dander?
Pet dander is made up of tiny pieces of skin, fur, and feathers. The tiny pieces of skin can trigger allergies for people who are allergic to pet dander. Proteins found in saliva, urine and feces from cats, dogs and other pets can cause allergic reactions in some people. Dried saliva from the animal cleaning themselves can also cause pet dander to be in the air around you.
Which Animals Pose the Biggest Problems?
Cats are kept as pets just as much as dogs are but people report allergies to cats twice as much as dogs. Animals with fur are more likely to carry allergens from other places, like dust, but fur alone is generally not the trigger. There is not any way to have a non-allergenic pet because even the hairless or fur less species carry dander.
How Do Pet Allergens Occur?
Pet allergens are very small particles and they remain in the air for a long time, longer than allergens from cockroaches or dust mites. Because of their size and shape, pet allergens easily stick to furniture, bedding and fabrics. Animal dander is easily spread through the home. They can be found even in homes and buildings without pets.
Hair/Fur - hair is found only on mammals, and it is an outgrowth of protein. Animals with fur carry dust particles and other particles that present themselves in the air and cause allergies. Humans lose 50 to 100 strands of hair daily causing hair particles to be in the air also. These particles bombarding your system with all these allergens is overwhelming for your immune system. With an Asiet Air PCO system it will rid your home or workplace of these particles in the air.
How ASIET Air Purifiers Work:
ASIET Air Equipment employs UV-C germicidal lamps and photocatalytic "Technosite™" impregnated reactors. This combination is far more effective than UV light alone.
UV Light is provided by the sun and also by specially designed lamps. The three types of UV lamps in the market produce UV-A, UV-B and UV-C light. UV-B is used in medical applications to treat patients with Jaundice, Psoriasis, and other skin disorders by irradiating the reactor pads and in rooms to treat the upper level air next to the ceiling. UV-A is less effective in killing bacteria than UV-C. UV-C at 254 nm wavelength is the peak absorbance of DNA and RNA; therefore, the most effective in killing cells, including bacteria. UV light intensity decreases with the square of the distance from the bulb. Therefore, for UV-light to be effective, bacteria and mold cells must be in close proximity to the lamp.
